Space Keys

Space Keys are used to create Spaces where your team works together

What are Space Keys?

Space Keys are permissions that the PairSpaces CLI uses to create Spaces. A Space Key can be used to create an unlimited number of Spaces from any environment, e.g., a cloud platform, a DevContainer, or your local machine.

Creating Keys

You can create Space Keys using the PairSpaces CLI and running pair keys create, selecting an Organization, and choosing the team members who can access Spaces:

Select the Organization to work with.

Your Space Key is ready. Store this key securely — it cannot be retrieved from PairSpaces.

Live key: ps_live_7ATuLopVXIx_...

Note PairSpaces does not keep a copy of your Space Keys.
